Collaborating for a fully sustainable and circular aramid chain

Teijin Aramid minimizes the impact of waste through circularity by producing yarns in a sustainable way while remaining excellent performance. We reduce the waste of end-of-life materials, and also lower the eco-footprint in production. Future developments will therefore be in the combined effects of circularity & reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, scope 1-2-3. We put significant effort on gaining access to sustainable resources to produce yarn. By joining consortia and collaborating with business partners, we study possibilities of sourcing raw materials from renewable source. We explore bio- & plastic waste-based sources to move away from fossil resources. By going to net zero we can make significant impact for aramid-based products like tires, RTP’s and many more.
